I’m Will Geekgate.

I’m a self-taught software engineer. I’ve also experienced working as business and tax advisor on my capacities as an IRS Enrolled Agent and a CPA. Interestingly enough, my licenses are both inactive now. I guess you could say I lost interests crunching numbers.

You might have asked; why and when did I start this blog? Not too long ago. Just as when the winter started getting cold and wetter in the Pacific northwest, in January 2021, this platform came to life.

I felt like I was looking for an outlet to express my thoughts and ideas. As a side hustle, I’m fascinated with the idea that I can write just about anything, anywhere, and anytime I want to. 

Honestly, I don’t believe I’m good in articulating myself through blog copywriting. But I find it fascinating to talk about something I’m quite familiar with; technology, software, outsourcing, business, accounting, finance, and related topics.

Blogging may not earn me enough to make a living, BUT if you find it useful and practical as an individual and/or your business endeavors then I achieved my goal.
